PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston cooling mechanism of an internal combustion engine which properly cools pistons with a simple injection adjustment nozzle cooling mechanism and concurrently prevents excessive oil injection to achieve stable temperature control of the pistons.SOLUTION: A piston cooling mechanism of an internal combustion engine includes: a piston 3 which reciprocates; a protrusion part 31 provided on a rear surface of the piston 3; and an oil jet device 9 which injects an oil toward a route of movement of the protrusion part 31 which results from movement of the piston 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
