PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device having a high efficiency and a long life.SOLUTION: An organic electroluminescent device comprises: a positive electrode; a light-emitting layer arranged so that light emission through a singlet excited state can be obtained; and a laminate structure including at least three layers differing from one another in film composition between the positive electrode and the light-emitting layer. The laminate structure includes: a first layer doped with an electron-accepting compound of which the LUMO level is -9.0 to -4.0 eV, and including a hole transporting compound; and a second layer disposed between the first layer and the light-emitting layer adjacently to the light-emitting layer, and including a compound expressed by the general formula (1) below.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
