PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently store information on a screen of a client terminal, for efficient support.SOLUTION: A thin client system includes a client terminal 50 and a server 100. The server 100 detects an update area, on the basis of a screen operated by a user. The server 100 performs video-compression on a first update area having an update frequency equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold, and performs still-image compression on a second update area having an update frequency less than the predetermined threshold, on the basis of the update frequency of the update areas. The server 100 determines whether to store the second update area, on the basis of the size of the first update area and the size of the second update area, when a new update area includes both first and second update areas.
