PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card system preventing unauthorized use of a card regardless of a district.SOLUTION: A system is provided with a shop terminal 2 and a host computer 1 connected through a communication line 3 and has a card used in the shop terminal 2, the shop terminal 2 has means for reading information uniquely identifying the card from the card and transmitting to the host computer 1, the host computer 1 has: the information uniquely identifying the card, means for storing pairing of card to use possible time zone; means for determining whether or not the present time is included in the use possible time zone for the card which is paired with the information for uniquely identifying the received card from the shop terminal 2; means for permitting use of the card in the shop terminal 2 when the present time is included; and means for not permitting use of the card in the shop terminal 2 when the present time is not included.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
