PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader which shortens a time required for reading a card and has a compact size.SOLUTION: In a card conveyance route inside a card reader 8, a first magnetic reading part 37 and a second magnetic reading part 38 are provided at a distance from each other with respect to a card insertion direction. Further, a non-contact type IC reading part 39 which is a non-contact type card reading part for reading information of the IC of the card that is the second card information by a wireless communication is provided between the first magnetic reading part 37 and the second magnetic reading part 38. The non-contact type IC reading part 39 includes a coil-shaped antenna not shown. A space part 41 which is sufficient space not interrupting an electric wave from the antenna is secured around the non-contact type IC reading part 39.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
