PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch in which a torque transmittance is not carried out from an outer ring to an inner ring if it shows a value less than prescribed revolving speed and a torque transmittance from the outer ring to the inner ring in one rotating direction if it shows a value more than the prescribed revolving speed, and a torque transmittance to the outer ring can be carried out at the beginning of inputting a rotation to the inner ring.SOLUTION: An annular retainer member 44 is installed between an inner ring 43 and an outer ring 41, a retainer member side weight body pocket part 44e of the retainer member 44 is formed with a retainer member acting cam surface 44g that enables the retainer member 44 to be relatively rotatable against the inner ring 43 as a weight 45 is moved toward outside in a clutch diameter direction. When the retainer member 44 is relatively rotated in respect to the inner ring 43, rollers 42 acting as torque transmittance elements are pushed by the retainer member 44 and moved to an engaging position where they may be engaged with the inner and outer rings 43, 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
