An image processing device provided with a blur processing unit which subjects input image information, which is input, to blur processing, characterized in that said image processing device is provided with: a saturation degree determining unit which calculates a degree of saturation of a saturated pixel in the input image information; a first gradation converting unit which converts a gradation of the input image information on the basis of the degree of saturation calculated by the saturation degree determining unit; and a second gradation converting unit which, after the blur processing unit has subjected the image information, the gradation of which has been converted by the first gradation converting unit, to blur processing, converts the gradation, with the gradation of a saturated region in the image information which has been subjected to blur processing as a saturated pixel. |
