Disclosed is a sanitary rod, comprising a rod-like body (1) and a traction member (10) fixed on the body (1) and drawn out from the end of the body (1). The body (1) is a workpiece of a compressed modified polyvinyl alcohol porous foam material being columnar after absorbing menstrual blood and expanding. The main structure of the sanitary rod is made of a compressed modified polyvinyl alcohol porous foam material, wherein the body (1) has a three-dimensional interconnected internal space structure, has a better absorption effect over the prior art cotton sanitary rod, has no side leakage, has the performance of overall absorption of menstrual blood, prevents blood clots from coagulating and remaining on the surface, reduces the chance of infections such as vaginal infections, and does not have any drugs such as fluorescent agents and bleaching agents added thereto, and thus ensuring the safety. In addition, due to the lack of fibrous fluff tissues and degradation characteristics of the compressed modified polyvinyl alcohol porous foam material, this ensures that the phenomena of fibrous fluff falling off in the vagina and uterus during usage do not occur and is more environmentally friendly after use. |
