Provided are a communication system and a cabinet therefor, the cabinet comprising opposingly arranged columns, communication devices being mounted between the columns, the cabinet also comprising device mounting portions arranged in pairs, the device mounting portions being arranged side-by-side along the horizontal direction between the columns, communication device mounting spaces being formed between the device mounting portions, enabling airflow paths to be formed between the communication devices mounted between the device mounting portions. On the basis of cabinets in the prior art, the present invention adds the independently designed device mounting portions, and mounts a communication device between two device mounting portions, thus enabling gaps to be formed in the vertical direction between the communication devices, and thereby forming the airflow paths in the vertical direction, effectively preventing cascade heating between communication devices and mutual interference which occur during traditional natural heat dissipation device horizontal mounting, and preventing component high temperature failure caused by poor heat dissipation. |
