The invention relates to a wind turbine having a horizontal reaction turbine, based on the CATT-type (combined augmentation technology turbine) turbine technology and by means of which the speed of the air flow can be accelerated, making the wind turbine more efficient, permitting an increase in the power that can be extracted from the circulation of air. This wind turbine comprises two ducts that are aligned in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the wind turbine, wherein a first duct is disposed inside a second duct, defining an annular conduction between the two. The supply of air via the annular duct is accelerated by means of a convergence zone which can increase the rotational speed of the flow and reduce the pressure in the rear zone of the turbine. In addition, directional blades are provided which permit the flow to be guided in the optimum direction, such as the angle of attack on the paddles of the main turbine and the angle of rotation of the rotational flow, and which in turn join the pair of ducts to one another and to the central shaft. |
