Provided are an information acquisition method and device. The method comprises: acquiring basic information about a building to be searched, the basic information about the building to be searched being used for marking the building to be searched; and according to the basic information about the building to be searched, obtaining introduction information about the building to be searched and pushing same to a user. By means of the information acquisition method and device provided in the present invention, a user can actually and accurately acquire the location where he/she is located currently.
