PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate conventional problems in a personal computer such as: a possibility of an unauthorized use of a LAN line by a third person as a connecting/disconnecting operation of a LAN line has been conducted with a connecting/disconnecting switch by a manual operation; or a possibility of missing, stealing or unauthorized use of a USB memory or an authentication device connected to the personal computer.SOLUTION: Connecting/disconnecting of a LAN line in a personal computer is controlled by an IC key. An apparatus of the present invention incorporates a USB memory or an authentication device, and a motion control thereof is performed by the IC key.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
