PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data converter capable of replacing an external character not corresponding to a character code system of data after conversion, properly with an image expressing the external character, in data conversion into data in which a corresponding character code system is different.SOLUTION: A data converter 1 retrieves from DTP data D1, an external character not corresponding to a character code system of intermediate data D2, before converting from the DTP data D1 into the intermediate data D2, and generates an external character image expressing the external character, and replaces the external character therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
