PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a haptic control system and a haptic control method, which allow a user to make manipulation with ease without having to fix his/her eyes on a display screen while manipulating.SOLUTION: A haptic control system of the present invention controls a user's haptic sense during his/her manipulating on a manipulation surface of a touch panel or a touch pad, and includes a map information acquisition unit 2 that acquires map information including a map object to be displayed on a screen corresponding to the manipulation surface, and a haptic control unit 3 that uses the map information acquired by the map information acquisition unit 2 to control a sense of texture of the manipulation surface such that an area of the manipulation surface corresponding to the map object provides a sense of texture corresponding to the map object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
