PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide dough for processed food similar to a minced meat processed food, which does not use meat as a raw material and which can be eaten even by a person who wants to refrain from ingestion of meat for various reasons including health, religion, and the like, and to provide a processed food similar to a minced meat processed food.SOLUTION: Provided are: dough for processed food similar to a minced meat processed food, not containing meat but comprising tissue-like vegetable protein, vegetables, a binding material, and jelly; and a processed food similar to a minced meat processed food, obtained by heat-treating the dough. Also provided is a method for producing dough for processed food similar to a minced meat processed food, which does not use meat as a raw material and is prepared by mixing jelly, tissue-like vegetable protein, vegetables, and a binding material and, thereafter, molding the mixture, the jelly being obtained by crushing a gel obtained by heating a gelator-containing aqueous solution containing a gelator and water, followed by cooling.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
