1. A vehicle upper structure comprising:
a roof side rail that extends in a vehicle front-rear direction; a roof reinforcement that includes a first bulging portion that bulges out downward in a vehicle up and down direction, and a first flange portion that protrudes in the vehicle front-rear direction from the first bulging portion, the roof reinforcement extending farther toward an inside of a vehicle cabin in a vehicle width direction than the roof side rail; and a gusset that is arranged extending between the roof side rail and an end portion of the roof reinforcement in the vehicle width direction, the gusset has, on an inner end portion on an inside in the vehicle width direction, a second bulging portion that bulges out downward in the vehicle up and down direction and a second flange portion that protrudes in the vehicle front-rear direction from the second bulging portion, the gusset being connected at an outer end portion on an outside in the vehicle width direction to the roof side rail, the gusset being such that the second bulging portion and the second flange portion are overlapped with, and fastened to, the first bulging portion and the first flange portion, respectively, from below in the vehicle up and down direction. |
