The present disclosure relates to a signal transmission control method and apparatus and an electronic device. The method comprises: detecting whether a terminal requesting to establish a wireless connection exists (102); and if not, switching a transmission function of a beacon frame to a disabled state, and maintaining reception of a probe request frame (104). By means of the technical solution of the present disclosure, transmission of a beacon frame can be reduced, and power consumption of a wireless access point (AP) can be reduced. |
