The present invention relates to a precast pier and a precast pier construction method using the same and, more specifically, to a precast pier and a precast pier construction method using the same, in which an empty space is formed at the bottom of the lowermost segment to increase the pre-stress generated at the joint between the pier segment and a base plate. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a precast pier that comprises: a base part fixedly installed on the ground; a column part that includes a plurality of pier segments stacked on the base part; and a coping part disposed on the column part, wherein the lowermost segment of the plurality of pier segments is constituted by a hollow segment in order to increase the pre-stress acting on the lowermost segment, the hollow segment having an empty space that is recessed from the central portion of the bottom thereof by a predetermined length such that the contact area between the bottom of the hollow segment and the base part is smaller than the total cross section. |
