PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that since the light emitted from a light source lamp, where a pair of electrodes used for a projector and gas of mercury, or the like, are sealed in a glass tube, is radiated via the glass tube, it is reflected on the interface of the inner wall and outer wall of the glass tube, and to provide a light source device of high light utilization efficiency where surface reflection loss of the glass tube is eliminated.SOLUTION: In a light source lamp 1 having a pair of electrodes 2 and a glass tube 3 internally sealing the electrodes and a discharge space, a reflection prevention structure consisting of a fine uneven structure 4 having an average pitch of specification wavelength or less is formed on at least one surface of th glass tube.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
