PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device having a mounting mechanism for a rotating ring that facilitates the mounting process, has no chances of causing damage while removing the rotating ring, and makes it difficult for the rotating ring to come off even when external force is applied.SOLUTION: An optical device includes; a fixed cam ring having a cam groove formed on an inner periphery thereof; a drive ring located on an outer periphery side of the fixed cam ring; a movable cam ring that rotatingly moves in an optical axis direction along the cam groove when the drive ring is rotated; and a rotating ring that is disposed on an outer periphery side of the movable cam ring and is engaged with the movable cam ring to rotatingly move integrally with the movable cam ring in the optical axis direction, where the rotating ring has a locking part that becomes deformed in shape when engaged with the movable cam ring, and the fixed cam ring has a space formed thereon that allows the deformation of the locking part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
