The purpose of the present invention is to provide a solar cell having excellent photoelectric conversion efficiency, little deterioration during sealing (initial deterioration), and excellent durability. This solar cell has a laminate having an electrode, a counter electrode, and a photoelectric conversion layer arranged between the electrode and the counter electrode, said laminate being sealed by an inorganic layer covering the counter electrode. The photoelectric conversion layer includes an organic-inorganic perovskite compound indicated by general formula R-M-X3 (R indicating an organic molecule, M indicating a metal atom, and X indicating a halogen atom or a chalcogen atom.) The inorganic layer includes a metal oxide, a metal nitride, or a metal oxynitride. |
