The present invention relates to a water-quality improving device which is essential in improving the quality of water for rearing fish in fish farms. A conventional means, which requires fixed filtration media for promoting the generation of microorganisms in order to remove ammonia nitrogen, and requires an oxygen diffuser installed in each water tank to increase the dissolved oxygen content, has proved to be so inadequate in managing the water quality that fish suffering from a lack of appetite, death and thwarted growth and development has resulted in reduced profitability. The present invention provides a system that achieves an oxygen dissolving capacity five times greater than that of conventional systems by having ammonia nitrogen discharged from an oxygen diffuser, which in turn increases the appetite and growth rate of the fish and therefore contributes to an increase in the productivity of the farm. |
