- 9 The invention relates to a saddle fitting for tapping into a primary pipe to provide flow from the primary pipe to a secondary pipe. The saddle fitting comprising two parts adapted to clamp about the primary pipe, each part comprising integral formations on matching ends which can separably interengage to pivotally couple the two parts of the fitting about the primary pipe. One of the parts comprises an aperture for coupling a secondary pipe to communicate flow from the primary pipe to the secondary pipe when the parts are clamped about the primary pipe.
