摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent light source device capable of attaining a high luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a fluorescent light source device provided with a wavelength conversion member for emitting fluorescent light by excitation laser beam. An excitation beam light-receiving surface at the wavelength conversion member is formed with a periodic structure having gimlet-shaped or frustum salients arranged in a two-dimensional period manner. The wavelength conversion member has fluorescent members of a polycrystalline fluorescent body, a thickness of the fluorescent member is 0.05 to 0.2 mm, the wavelength conversion member includes a fine dispersion body made of inorganic compound particles having a refraction factor of 1.0 or more so as to disperse the excitation laser beam and fluorescent light emitted from the fluorescent body, and a diameter of the fine dispersion body is 500 to 8000 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
