PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a compact arrangement of a spring for holding a dog-toothed ring at its neutral position in a synchro device having a dog-toothed ring that is supported at a gear in a relative rotatable manner.SOLUTION: A projection part 24c of a dog-toothed ring 24 passes through an open hole 16d at a disc part 16b of a gear 16 and is fixed by a fixing ring 25. The dog-toothed ring 24 can be relatively rotated by a prescribed angle in respect to the gear 16. Coil springs 27, 28 are stored in spring storage recesses 16e formed at a disk part 16b, the coil springs 27, 28 are covered by a lid part 25b of the fixing ring 25, and at the same time a spring abutting part 25c of the fixing ring 25 is engaged with the coil springs 27, 28, so that the coil springs 27, 28 can be arranged inside the gear 16 in compact form while the dog-toothed ring 24 is being held at its neutral position and radial size and axial size of a synchro device S can be made in compact form.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
