Provided is a stacked-type positive temperature coefficient thermistor having a high flash breakdown voltage characteristic, in which the occurrence of delamination is suppressed. A stacked-type positive temperature coefficient thermistor comprises: a stacked body comprising a plurality of ceramic layers stacked on one another; first internal electrodes disposed between the plurality of ceramic layers inside the stacked body; second internal electrodes disposed between the plurality of ceramic layers inside the stacked body; a first external electrode which is disposed on a first end surface of the stacked body and which is connected to the first internal electrodes; and a second external electrode which is disposed on a second end surface of the stacked body and which is connected to the second internal electrodes. At least one thermistor-disabled portion which does not function as a thermistor is provided in a substantially central part, in the stacking direction of the stacked body, of a thermistor-enabled portion which functions as a thermistor and which is a substantially central part of the interior of the stacked body. The thickness of the internal electrodes is 0.4 to 1.0 µm. |
