A light source device is provided with: a rotating body which rotates about a rotating shaft; a plurality of phosphors which are disposed on a plurality of circumferences with different radii around the rotating shaft of the rotating body, and which are excited by being irradiated with light to generate fluorescence; and a light source part which irradiates one of the plurality of phosphors which is disposed on a predetermined circumference with excitation light for generating fluorescence, and which irradiates a region of a phosphor different from the one phosphor among the plurality of phosphors with the excitation light, the region not located on a straight line passing from the rotating shaft to an irradiation position at which the one phosphor is irradiated with the excitation light. |
