A semi-transmissive type liquid crystal display device (10) is provided with: a plurality of pixel parts (19R, 19G, 19B); a plurality of reflective electrodes (23) disposed respectively in the plurality of pixel units (19R, 19G, 19B) for reflecting light; a transmissive region (TA) not overlapping the reflective electrodes (23), including at least regions between adjacent reflective electrodes (23), and transmitting light; and a plurality of coloring parts (29R, 29G, 29B) which are coloring parts (29R, 29G, 29B) disposed respectively in the plurality of pixel parts (19R, 19G, 19B) and on the light output side of the reflective electrodes (23) and selectively transmitting light of a certain wavelength region, said coloring parts being formed from reflective electrode overlapping parts (30) overlapping the reflective electrodes (23) and transmissive region overlapping parts (31) overlapping the transmissive region (TA), and including ones wherein an opening part (35) is formed in the transmissive region overlapping parts (31). |
