The purpose of the present invention is to provide a deck garnish structure for an integrally shaped deck garnish to decrease manufacturing and assembly steps and reduce cost, while effectively achieving pedestrian protection. The deck garnish structure has a cross section in a vehicle front-rear direction including an upper wall portion (27) to which a weather strip (23) disposed between a lower surface of a front hood (5) and an upper surface of a deck garnish (1) is attached, a front wall portion (28) continuous from the upper wall portion (27) on the vehicle front side, a rear wall portion (29) continuous from the upper wall portion on the vehicle rear side, and an energy absorption chamber (31) enclosed by the upper wall portion (27), the front wall portion (28), and the rear wall portion (29) and formed with a lower opening, wherein the energy absorption chamber (31) extends in a vehicle width direction, with a link member (21) disposed at least at a center portion in the vehicle width direction bridging and linking the front wall portion (28) and the rear wall portion (29) so as to close the lower end portion of the energy absorption chamber 31. |
