This loudspeaker includes a frame, diaphragm, edge connecting section, magnetic circuit having a magnetic gap, and voice coil body. The edge connecting section connects an outer peripheral end portion of the diaphragm and the frame to each other. The diaphragm is disposed inside of the frame. The diaphragm has a planar diaphragm and a reinforcing diaphragm. Both the front surface and the rear surface of the planar diaphragm are flat. The reinforcing diaphragm includes a thick portion and a recessed portion, and is coupled to the planar diaphragm. The reinforcing diaphragm is formed of a resin. The thick portion is formed at the outer periphery of the reinforcing diaphragm. The recessed portion is provided on the center side of the reinforcing diaphragm.
