The invention relates to a fluid pump (10) having a pump chamber (28), which is connected to a pump inlet (32) by way of an inlet line (30) and to a pump outlet (36) by way of an outlet line (34), and in which a pump member (22) than can be actuated by a motor (18) is arranged, and having a control device (24) for controlling the motor (18) in dependence of the position of a valve body (66) of a control valve (42) that is movably held in the inlet line (30). In order to refine the fluid pump such that the fluid pump allows a control of the motor (18) that is less susceptible to malfunction as a function of the position of the valve body (66), the fluid pump (10) according to the invention has an elastically expandable expansion volume, which is connected to the pump member (22). |
