The invention relates to a device (1) for damping torsional oscillations, comprising: a support (2) rotatable about an axis (X); at least one pendulum body (3) that can move relative to the support (2); at least one rolling member (11) interacting with a raceway (12) that is solidly connected to the support (2) and with a raceway (13) that is solidly connected to the pendulum body (3), such as to guide the movement of the pendulum body (3) relative to the support (2); and at least one damping stop member (40) for the pendulum body (3) in relation to the support (2), the rolling member (11) including, in a plane orthogonal to the axis of rotation (X), a point of contact (P1, P2) with each of the raceways (12, 13) when the device (1) is in a rest position in which the pendulum body (3) is stationary relative to the support (2), the straight line (P1, P2) defined by said two contact points intersecting with the damping stop member (40) when the device (1) is in the rest position. |
