PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for determining a route on the basis of selection.SOLUTION: The system comprises: a destination reception device for receiving a destination from a GPS receiver communicating with a GPS system; a selection acquisition device for acquiring selection on the basis of a parameter, the selection being based on determination recorded by an operator associated with the GPS receiver or the GPS system when advancing a route to the destination; and a route analysis device for determining a route on the basis of at least one of the selection and an optimal route calculated by the GPS system communicating with a GPS acquisition device.
