PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press-reduction molding method capable of achieving the acquirement of a necessary shape freeze and the improvement in a yield simultaneously.SOLUTION: A press-reduction molding method grips and subjects a plate 1 to a throttle molding. The press-reduction molding method comprises: a first step (Step S1) of breaking the plate 1 at a breaking part 4 after a predetermined strain was applied to a portion to be throttled of the plate 1 by moving an upper mold 10e from the top dead point to the breaking position; and a second step (Step S2) of subsequently completing the throttle molding by moving the upper mold 10e from the breaking position to a bottom dead point.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
