PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a variation in a pressure supplied to a diaphragm chamber of a fuel pump for a carburetor.SOLUTION: An intake device of an engine includes a carburetor 30 and an intake passage 21. The carburetor 30 generates an air-fuel mixture by mixing fuel into air. The intake passage 21 is arranged between the carburetor 30 and an intake port 15 of the engine so as to introduce the air-fuel mixture to the intake port 15 of the engine, or is arranged on an upstream side of the carburetor 30 so as to introduce the air supplied to the intake port 15 of the engine 1 to the carburetor 30. A fuel pump 60 includes a pump chamber 65 for sucking and delivering the fuel, and a diaphragm chamber 61 to which the pressure for driving the pump chamber 65 is supplied. The intake passage 21 has a throttle part 100. The intake device of the engine further includes a communication passage 110 communicating the throttle part 100 with the diaphragm chamber 61. The pressure for driving the pump chamber 65 is supplied to the diaphragm chamber 61 from the throttle part 100 through the communication passage 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
