PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe joint capable of adding a slip-off mechanism to an existing pipe line having a seal mechanism only without disassembling the pipe line.SOLUTION: This invention comprises a seal mechanism 100 for compressing a ring-like packing 20 by an end flange 11 and an additional flange 12 of a joint main body 10 and closely contacting to an outer surface of a connection pipe P2 and a slip-off mechanism 200 for restricting a slip-off of the connection pipe P2. The slip-off mechanism 200 comprises a slip-off ring 51, a presser ring 60 having an acting surface, a presser ring fastening means 70 and a spacer 80. The slip-off ring 51 is divided at one location or a plurality of locations in a peripheral direction. Both presser ring 60 and the spacer 80 are also divided at a plurality of locations in their peripheral directions. The presser ring 60 is divided into an inner ring 62 and an outer ring 63. Their overlapped surfaces are formed by slant surfaces 64, 65 having a smaller gradient than that of an acting surface 61.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
