PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical switch achieving a low power consumption and simplified in a manufacturing process.SOLUTION: An optical switch includes: a plurality of input/output waveguides 101; a star coupler 102 connecting the plurality of input/output waveguides 101 to one end; an array waveguide 103 connected to the other end of the star coupler 102; a phase shifter composed of a heat 105 formed in part of each waveguide of the array waveguide 103; and an optical switch including a reflection circuit 107 provided in the end part not connected with the star coupler 102 of the array waveguide 103. A first waveguide from the portion in which the phase shifter is formed among the waveguides of the array waveguide 103 to the reflection circuit 107, and the reflection circuit 107 are formed by a silicon optical waveguide.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
