PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trigger gap which allows for synthetic input test with one trigger gap, by enhancing the withstand voltage performance between gaps.SOLUTION: In a trigger gap TG where a pair of counter electrodes 1 and an electrode 2 with a trigger are provided to face each other via a gap 8, the electrode 2 with a trigger generates an arc plasma 6 and includes a pressure accumulation chamber 4 provided internally, a trigger electrode 5 provided in the pressure accumulation chamber 4 and generating arc discharge between the inner wall of the pressure accumulation chamber 4, and a nozzle 3 for interconnecting the pressure accumulation chamber 4 and gap 8, and ejects the arc plasma 6 generated in the pressure accumulation chamber 4 by arc discharge to the counter electrode 1 through the nozzle 3 by increasing the pressure in the pressure accumulation chamber 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
