PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood processing filter and a manufacturing method of a blood processing filter capable of easily avoiding a risk that a filter element is deviated from a predetermined position and removal of an undesirable component becomes incomplete in manufacturing the blood processing filter.SOLUTION: A blood processing filter 1 includes a filter element 2, an entry side container material 4 and an exit side container material 5 arranged sandwiching the filter element. The filter element 2 includes a pair of filter surfaces 2a and 2b, and an edge surface 2c along the periphery of the pair of filter surfaces 2a and 2b. A grip part 9 for clamping outer peripheral parts 2d and 2e of the pair of filter surfaces 2a and 2b together and compressing them is provided to the entry side container material 4 and the exit side container material 5. A wall part 52 for surrounding the edge surface 2c of the filter element 2 is provided to the exit side container material 5. The wall part 52 includes an opposing surface 52c that faces the edge surface 2c, and a protrusion 52d that protrudes from the opposing surface 52c and guides the mounting of the filter element 2 to the inside.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
