PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a keratin producing action-exhibiting curcumin derivative and a production process therefor.SOLUTION: Provided is a keratin producing action-exhibiting curcumin derivative and a production process therefor; a curcumin derivative is a derivative in which curcumin and adenine are bonded; a curcumin derivative is produced by an enzymatic reaction by fermentation; said curcumin derivative exerts an action to the gene of epithelial cell of the skin, and increases the keratin; the production process comprises a step for protease-treating a fermentation liquid fermented by adding a Bacillus natto of NattoHonpo-made and a Monascus fungus of BenikoujiHonpo-made to a powder of curcuma rhizome and soybean; the obtained curcumin derivative exhibits an excellent effect, and is utilized in cosmetic, food preparation and pharmaceutical preparation; and especially, when utilized in cosmetic, it is utilized in a cosmetic that is excellent in sebum decomposition, skin moisture retention capability and skin elasticity.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
