The present invention relates to a vehicle-dedicated android based pad device that performs a predetermined computing function which enables an input into the touch screen and the display of the vehicle to operate in conjunction with each other in the case where a touch screen is mounted to a display of any vehicle having a navigation device that is not of a touch input type. The pad device comprises: a wireless communication unit which performs a wireless communication function; a wired communication unit which performs a communication function with the navigation device; a control unit which performs a wireless Internet function via the wireless communication unit, and performs a function of the navigation device or a predetermined computing function in response to the input via the touch screen; an image processing unit which processes an image signal output from the control unit and outputs it to the navigation device; and an audio processing unit which processes an audio signal output from the control unit and outputs it to the navigation device. In an embodiment of the present invention, a touch screen is mounted to a conventional vehicle display device, the Internet is enabled by allowing them to operate in conjunction with a smartphone, and a tablet PC function can be implemented using the existing vehicle display device. |
