PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise while suppressing reduction in color reproducibility of an image.SOLUTION: A color correction section 31 performs color correction of an inputted RGB signal, a Y/C conversion section 32 converts the color-corrected RGB signal into a luminance signal Ya and color difference signals Gb, Gr, and a Y conversion section 33 generates a luminance signal Yb from the inputted RGB signal. A Yb blend ratio calculation section 22 calculates a ratio for synthesizing the luminance signal Ya and the luminance signal Yb on the basis of the inputted RGB signal and a synthesis section 34 synthesizes the luminance signal Ya and the luminance signal Yb at the calculated Ya blend ratio.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
