PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine which can prevent liquid oil from flowing via a suction port into an oil separator, and thus prevent the consumption of oil from being increased.SOLUTION: An engine 100 (internal combustion engine) includes an engine body 10, and an oil separator 6 mounted on an outer face 10a of the engine body 10 for separating oil included in a blow-by gas BG from the engine body 10. The oil separator 6 includes a suction port 63 communicating with the inside of the engine body 10, and an upper inflow prevention part 67 which is formed to protrude inward with respect to the engine body 10 and prevents liquid oil LO in the engine body 10 from flowing via the suction port 63 into the oil separator 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
