PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which, when seam carving is applied without any condition to a layout in which a page is condensed, distortion may be generated in an image or even important information in an image may be made to be a target of elimination.SOLUTION: When an image is disposed in a page aggregated layout, image data representing an image to be disposed is reduced with linear scaling. By removing a seam with low importance from the reduced image data, the reduced image data is further reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
