PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that can perform correctly printing by preventing a time lag between scanning of a recording head and conveyance of recording media.SOLUTION: The image forming device comprises: conveying means that conveys recording media; a recording head that performs reciprocating scanning in a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction of the recording media and forms images on the recording media in a state where the recording media are being conveyed by the conveying means; receiving means that receives scanned image data while the recording head is waiting at a non-printing region; and control means that controls distances of the recording media conveyed by the conveying means for a period of time during which the recording head is waiting at the non-printing region, on the basis of reception time of the scanned image data to be determined from communication speed of the receiving means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
