摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for recovering a catalyst with high recovery efficiency and without causing catalyst clogging in a recovery path.SOLUTION: An recovery apparatus 1 comprises: a first suction passage 5A inserted from a reactor manhole 2A to extend downward in a reaction tower 2 and sucking upward a catalyst in the reaction tower 2; a chain block 8 moving the first suction passage 5A vertically; and a separator 10 connected to the downstream side of the first suction passage 5A to separate the catalyst flowing out from the first suction passage 5A into the catalyst and air and discharging the air outside and storing the catalyst inside thereof. The suction of the catalyst is performed in conjunction with the opening/closing operation of a discharge port 11A of the separator 10. More specifically, the chain block 8 raises the first suction passage 5A to discharge the catalyst from the separator 10 when the discharge port 11A is opened for discharging the catalyst from the separator 10, and lowers the first suction passage 5A when the discharge port 11A is closed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
