PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for mailing a package or a small parcel to be sent or to be received, which can be adjusted automatically so as to have a smaller inner volume just sufficient for receiving a current package or small parcel mailing.SOLUTION: A container, which can be fastened to a door 1 of a house, comprises a base member 2, and a lid member 3 by which a mailing can be placed into the container or removed from the container. The base member 2 and the lid member 3 are connected to each other by foldable side walls. When the foldable side walls are in an extended state, a fastening member 7, in particular a textile flap with at least one thickening part, is arranged at the base member 2 indirectly via a bracket 6 configured in an articulated manner at the base member 2, wherein thickening part can be inserted into the gap between a door leaf and the door frame or between a door leaf and the floor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
