The invention relates to a mounting device (10) for mounting a stand device (1) under the ceiling of an operating theatre comprising: a mounting unit (30) extending in the longitudinal direction along a mounting axis (D) arranged for holding a connection component (4) of the stand device, in particular a spindle; and a ceiling flange (40) arranged for mounting the mounting unit (30) under the ceiling and for fixing the stand device on the ceiling; wherein the ceiling flange (40) can be mounted in various mounting positions along the mounting axis (D) relative to the mounting unit (30), such that the mounting device (10) is arranged for holding the stand device (1) in a height variable manner in different, in particular predefined, height positions. The invention further relates to a mounting system having such a mounting device (10).
