The invention relates to an electric installation unit (1) comprising at least one application module (2) with a front face (25) and a rear face (26) and comprising at least one housing part (3). The rear face of the at least one application module (2) is provided with contacts (5, 6, 7) which can be brought into engagement with a cable (4) without interruption, the housing part (3) and/or the application module (2) has guiding devices for guiding conductors (41, 42, 43) of the cable (4), and at least one connection device is provided for connecting the application module (2) to the housing part (3). In order to connect at least one electric installation unit (1) to a cable, such as a round cable (4), a section of the length of the round cable (4) is stripped, and conductors (41, 42, 43) of the round cable (4) are individualized. The conductors (41, 42, 43) of the round cable (4) are placed in contacts (5, 6, 7) arranged on the rear face of the application module (2), and the housing part (3) is pressed against the contacts (5, 6, 7) of the application module (2), whereby the conductors (41, 42, 43) are contacted. |
