The present invention relates to an aid apparatus for providing a sound guidance of a pedestrian signal, and more specifically, to an aid apparatus for providing a sound guidance of a pedestrian signal linked a with traffic signal controller for outputting information around crosswalk in a directional sound to pedestrians who want to use the crosswalk. The aid apparatus comprises: a signal detection unit for detecting whether or not a walk or stop signal is transmitted; a vehicle detection unit for detecting velocity of a vehicle entering a road where a corresponding crosswalk is placed; a pedestrian detection unit for detecting pedestrians moving to cross the corresponding crosswalk; a danger detection unit for detecting whether or not a danger situation occurs around the corresponding crosswalk; a sound signal generating unit for outputting surrounding information according to detection signals of the signal detection unit, the vehicle detection unit, the pedestrian detection unit and the danger detection unit as a directional sound; and a control unit for controlling the signal detection unit, the vehicle detection unit, the pedestrian detection unit, the danger detection unit and the sound signal generating unit. The sound signal generating unit divides the area into a waiting section where the pedestrians are waiting for crossing the corresponding crosswalk, a crossing section where the pedestrians cross the corresponding crosswalk and an entry section where the pedestrians walk to enter the waiting section, and outputs sound information to only the pedestrians placed in each corresponding section. |
